Restoration High School, Yola wins the 6th Roseline Etuokwu National Quiz
More than 1,900 schools entered. One walked out of Trenchard Hall with the ₦5,000,000 top prize.
Restoration High School, Yola have won the sixth edition of the Roseline Etuokwu Sigma National Secondary School Quiz Competition, taking the ₦5,000,000 top prize at the grand finale held at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan on Saturday.
Ambassador College, Ota placed second and Global Kids College third, from a field that began with more than 1,900 registered schools drawn from across the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

From ten schools to a national field
The competition was inaugurated in 2021 with ten secondary schools inside a single local government area, Ibadan North. It widened to all thirty-three local governments of Oyo State in 2022, to the six South-West states in 2023, and to schools across Nigeria's 774 local governments in 2024.
Since 2023 the competition has reached more than 5,000 schools and awarded over ₦100 million in prizes. It is funded by Old Sigmite Victor Etuokwu through the Rams Charity Foundation, and named in honour of Roseline Etuokwu.
